The MDU-3 system integrates shredding, microwaves at 2,450 MHz and steam at ≥ 95 °C in a single unit. It replaces combustion with electromagnetic energy — no combustion gases, no liquid effluents. The waste comes out inert, decontaminated and unrecognizable.

Two chambers in series ensure complete combustion: the primary breaks down the waste and the hotter secondary eliminates the gases with more than 2 seconds of residence time and a triple emissions filtering system. Italian-made Baltur burners and less than 5 % ash.

Industrial dual-shaft shredder with tangential feed. Irreversibly destroys electronics, rejects and branded products, and integrates the flow toward incineration. Automatic operation via PLC, with CE and ISO 9001 certification.

About the technology and the process

Microwave disinfects biohazardous waste with lower impact and good volume reduction; incineration is reserved for waste that requires it.
It is an internationally recognized level of microbial inactivation for the treatment of medical waste.
